Due to recent success, this expanding grocery multiple are looking for a Regional HR manager to ensure a high quality generalist support structure and function across a region covering Dorset, Sussex and the South Coast. Paying up to £50k + car.
As well as offering guidance to ensure operators adhere to relevant legislation and policy requirements, you will also work with the training and development manager to ensure the delivery of relevant, practical support to the retail estate.
As Regional HR Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- To work with senior HR colleagues to oversee the team providing store managers with the skills to conduct recruitment and training for the stores.
- To work with the regional managers in the up-skilling of store managers.
- To increase store manager capability through management of underperformance and target setting.
- To contribute ideas for improved methods of achieving high standards in HR practices.
- To work as part of the senior HR team and have full input into the design and delivery of HR.
To be the successful applicant, you must possess a competent and thorough technical knowledge of employment law and legislation. You must have strong influencing and communication skills, with a high standard of presentation.
You must possess a driving license for this position.
Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or equivalent, with proven regional, multi-site HR experience. You must have your Regional HR Manager experience from within an operational retail environment. Food retail is preference.
