Our client is one of the UK’s largest FMCG manufacturing companies, with operational sites based across the UK. Following an internal restructure they are looking to appoint Regional HR Managers to support the business as it undertakes a fundamental review of its operations.
The Role
- Working closely with the senior management team you will take responsibility for developing & implementing the people agenda across a number of sites in support of the overall business objectives.
- To direct & advise on all areas regarding talent management & succession planning. To recognize gaps in talent and creates recruitment plans accordingly.
- Receive, respond & advise to queries regarding policy interpretation, employee relations, where appropriate.
- Ability to build strong business partnerships across all levels all sites.
- Proven ability to interpret & develop company policies
- To provide advice & direction to the senior management team regarding HR interpretation and compliance.
- Actively coach and guide managers in the areas of effective goal setting, development planning, coaching, feedback and performance management.
- To support site HR Managers with employee relations & performance management.
- To manage a proactive relationship with trade unions to ensure best interests are promoted & win-win solutions are achieved.
The Person
- Degree educated, or equivalent
- Proven experience of leading and delivering a complex HR agenda
- Experience of working within manufacturing in food or beverages, or similar fast moving consumer goods.
- Comfortable with operating in an ambiguous environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to build, lead and motivate teams across multiple sites
- First-class communication skills, along with proven proficiency in facilitation, collaboration and presentations
- Demonstrated leadership success in complex fast-moving environments
- Ability to direct and motivate others through open communication, listening & problem solving skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and accepts responsibility for actions
- Experience of working with & negotiations with trade unions.
