REGIONAL MANAGING DIRECTOR(DELAY & PLANNING) REQUIRED FOR UK & INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION CLAIMS CONSULTANCY: MIDLANDS BASED
My client was founded some 40 years ago in the UK with the aim of providing specialist commercial management, dispute resolution and planning and programming services to the world's engineering and construction industries. They are renowned for their technical expertise and associated litigation/expert witness services upon the most complex and intricate construction disputes.
Furthermore my client is looking to secure the appointment of a Regional Managing Director(Delay & Planning bias) to oversee the the Midlands office managing a number of fee earners and also in developing and further enhancing the company's profile and turnover accross the East & West Midlands territories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Total responsibility for the management of the office, including the supervision of all commissions and the preparation and implementation of the annual business plan.
? Development of the regional business through active marketing and by the presentation of training seminars to external clients.
? Expert Witness commissions and the further enhancement and promotion of a Centre of excellence for Expert Services associated with Delay, forensic and Programming analysis.
? Proven experience in the preparation of WBS, OBS and PBS structures and planning procedures and guides, introducing cost control and financial systems, including Earned Value Analysis, and initiated risk management and change control procedures.

WHO YOU ARE
? You will have at least 20 years experience in the construction industry coming from a Chartered QS, Civil Engineering or Arbitrator background.
? You possibly could have a dual legal affiliation such as been a qualified solicitor or Barrister.
? You will already be in a position at Senior Director Level or above within either a PQS Contract Services Consultancy or from a Specialist Claims Consultant with a bias for Delay, Disruption & Forensic Planning.
? You will Expert Witness (Forensic & Delay Experience) and would have appeared in court.
? You will be a proven fee earner and will have substantive experience of dealing with UK & International commissions associated with major civils, M & E, petrochemical and build contracting projects.
