My client is a global leader in healthcare. The Role

Following expansion within their service contracts business unit, they now seek to recruit a commercially astute Service Contract Sales Specialist / Regional Sales Manager. Working from home, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the service contract sales business portfolio within the northern England and Scotland territories. This is in the main an account management post, although you will also be responsible for ‘up-selling’ existing service agreements and identifying new business opportunities, ultimately looking to exceed area sales and gross profit targets agreed within the medical imaging and patient monitoring markets. You will look to extend the customer base, participate in relevant exhibitions and local events, assist in training team members, analyse competitor activity, organise territory product presentations and take responsibility for producing proposals and service contract agreements, as well as all the associated administrative duties. This role is home based and you will be expected to travel extensively throughout Northern England and Scotland.

Your Background

To succeed in this varied and challenging role, you must be able to demonstrate a background in medical equipment service contract sales or medical capital equipment sales. You will need to be well organised, an excellent relationship builder with a good attention for detail, with the ability to ‘up-sell’ and to work autonomously in a field based capacity.
