KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
RMA ,LMC or Level 4 in health and social care Knowledge of Care standards and CQC legislation
Entrepreneurial ability to gain new business as well as maintain existing business
Full driving licence
Enhanced CRB clearance
Conversant with monitoring and IT systems
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Care
Ensure all staff members contribute to the efficient running of the domiciliary service.
Ensuring/maintaining the best delivery of service.
Liaise with general manager/ head office and care staff to ensure that the highest standard of service is provided
Assess social and health care needs of new clients, examining, completing and maintain ongoing assessment and reviews of all other clients
Undertake direct domiciliary care as required.
Assist clients in all aspects of their care needs, and provide supervision and attention where necessary.
Undertake initial risk assessments within client's homes.
Ensuring that quality standards and performance measures are adhered to.
To develop relationships with social workers and healthcare officials in the area, working closely to raise the standards of care to the service users
Preparation of reports and other documentation.
To work on a rota system to ensure continuous service 7 days a week
Take overall responsibility /accountability and decision making as the manager on duty during all out of hours shift, allocating work where necessary or covering in case of emergency
Evaluate the service regularly and carry out customer surveys in line with the Business Development Manager and CQC legislation to continually improve delivery of the service
Communication
Investigate all complaints from social workers, service users and their representatives and report all issues of a serious nature to the line manager
Organise and participate in regular team meetings and locality meeting for carers to comply with company policies and procedures and care standards
Budgetary / Financial control
Manage, monitor and maintain budgets agreed by the General Manager, take corrective action in conjunction with the General Manager and Business Development Manager
Ensure that all commodities used by the domiciliary service are sensibly conserved by all staff members.
Ensure that deadlines are met for payroll
