We require a Registered Manager for a 3 bedded unit for young people with challenging behaviour and emotional behavioural difficulties.
It is essential that you have both your RMA and NVQ4. You must have relevant experience managing a young persons unit, as this is a new unit..
Your duties will include
- To ensure that services and support are provided in a person centred way, using a person centred approach
- In charge of the care and safety of all staff and service users when they are residing in the unit
- The day to day management and administration in the unit in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures
- The Registered Manager will be expected to undertake shift work, sleep in duties and evening and weekend work as determined by the company
- Ensure that all staff attend reviews and training in accordance with company policy
- Ensure a safe and homely environment for all service users
- To attend referral meetings with social services and any other outside professionals
- Responsible for maintaining the units financial budget and ensuring that budget boundaries are adhered to
- Writing and assisting in the implementation of individual care plans
- Promoting equal opportunities for all staff and service users in the unit
