Manager LD home Accrington
Manager for small bedded Learning Disabilities home Accrington, Lancashire area.
Must be experienced in Management of Learning Disability in residential setting, be a Registered Manager holding the relevant qualification in order to manage the staffing team, rota, care planning, working to a budget preparing and maintaining necessary documentation.
The Manager must be prepared to take over and completely handle all aspects of the day to day running of the home, maintaining high standards of individual care.
This home is a small 6 bedded LD (mildly disabled) home therefore as the Manager you will be responsible for: * *
*Ensuring the home is adequately staffed to meet residents' needs, in line with the Provider's guidelines
*Initial and continuing assessments
*Development of care plans,
*Continuous monitoring of risk assessments, and liaising with other care professionals e.g. psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, CPN, social services.
*Filling the home - promotion and familiar with the placements process.
*Maintaining IIP and any other accreditation.
*Working towards LCC Preferred Provider Status development and training - supervision and appraisals.
*Identifying service development needs; initiating and implementing same.
*Health and safety of residents and staff. Meeting requirements for continued professional registration and own professional development.
*Meeting CQC Inspection requirements and exceeding minimum standards within the home to raise CQC rating.
*Working to company's policies and procedures.
*Maintaining the home, all purchasing, fees, handling budget as assigned: Ensuring the smooth running & profitability of the business.
Qualifications: Fully registrable, NVQ 4+/RMA/LMA with good track record, driver
