Research Analyst, Cambridge; Research & Analysis; Healthcare Industry

Our client is a market leader within technology and innovation, known for its ability to solve technical problems and provide creative and practical solutions to business issues.Due to expansion they are now recruiting for a Research analyst to be responsible for identifying, abstracting and analysing information to support project work.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities for the role are as follows:-
  • Clearly defined desk-based research and analysis of results for client projects.
  • Interviewing scientific, medical and industrial opinion leaders.
  • Preparation of company information and identification of issues to support business development efforts.
  • Presentation of findings to internal teams and clients.
  • Potential to support design and development projects.
  • Assist in the generation and modelling of project-specific data within a wide range of market variables.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:-
  • Excellent first degree in chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, physics, pharmacology or related area
  • Interest in bio-medical and life science technologies and their commercial application to the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical instrument and biotechnology industries.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry in a research, product management, business development or project management role.
  • Have a track record of delivering challenging projects against tight time and budget constraints.
  • Have the ability to analyse and communicate commercial and technical recommendations both within the project team and to clients.

To would be highly advantageous to possess any of the following:-

  • Language skills in; French / German / Spanish / Italian.
  • A PhD and/or a MBA.
  • Database and spreadsheet tools.
