RESEARCH ENGINEER - Flow Control Technologies: The holder of this role is required to interface with academic and research organisations in the flow physics of flow control as well as well as understanding the engineering requirements and constraints. They must have the capability to manage and undertake demonstrations of the most promising solutions through simulation or testing on realistic industry problems.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Bath, Gloucester, Swindon, Wiltshire, Avon
RESEARCH ENGINEER - Flow Control Technologies-Required skills:
-The person in this position should be recognised as having an expertise in the area of flow control
-They must also have an ability to apply CFD to complex aerodynamic problems, interpret results and develop engineering solutions
-Engineering Physics or Mathematics University Degree with either: PhD in the application and/or development of numerical methods applied to complex engineering problems or significant relevant experience in Industry or Research establishment on methods development and/or application to support the assessment of flow control technology.
