Working for a fantastic media agency my client are seeking a Research Exec to join the team to assist in day to day support to the international Research team and be the initial point of contact for all the local and regional markets.
The ideal should be highly numerate and data literate, as there will be significant involvement in online research projects and a favourable leaning towards quantitative research.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Support the Research Director, on bespoke global research projects.
*Be the first point of contact for the markets; respond to information requests and supply data as and when requested. Assist them with presentations on relevant topics when required.
*Provide support to the markets on specific research tools.
*Provide research support for communications & media planning teams on existing clients and new business pitches.
*Build and manage the distribution of surveys and questionnaires. Co-ordinate and manage responses.
*Offer insight and interpretation of quantitative findings
Essential Skills
*Degree (or equivalent) with quantitative/statistical background
*Pro-active and self reliant, able to work with only limited supervision
*Confident presenter with ability to make public presentations
*Good experience of quantitative research techniques
*Numerate - must know the basics of sampling
*Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle pressure situations
*Collaborative, strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills
*Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
*Be passionate about media!!
