Our client has been operating in the Dubai motor vehicle market since 2007 and requires a self-motivated person to act as a researcher of vehicle prices and specification information (providing support services to the Business Development Manager and Sales Director).
You duties will be as follows:
1. Increase the depth of the company's research of the Dubai used vehicle market. Your target is to enter at least 400 used prices into the database each day worked. At least half day per week must be spent visiting dealer yards to collect used prices:
2. To assist the other Researchers to maintain the integrity and quality of database by advising of new vehicle releases and the collection of specification data / new price lists that they may require from time to time.
3. To clarify the above points, your primary role is to collect used price data. The other researchers are responsible for the collection of specifications of new vehicle releases, which is done online. There may be rare occasions when specifications are not available online so brochures will need to be collected in Dubai and mailed to Bangkok.
For Dealer visits (retail pricing) -
Visit dealer lots and record the following o
o The year, make, model and description of the vehicle
o Km's on odometer
o Condition of vehicle (as per specified criteria)
o Asking price for the vehicle
For Auction visits (wholesale pricing) -
Visit auctions and record the following o
o The year, make, model and description of vehicle
o Km's on odometer
o Condition of vehicle (as per specified criteria)
o Selling price of the vehicle
Data input:
To input the data collected into the database as per instructions to be provided by the Technical Director.
Pricing calculations:
The allocation of prices (retail and wholesale) to the vehicle database requires expertise and will be done by the other Researchers.
The Dubai researcher will need to have considerable input into the operation because of the proximity to market conditions and trends.
You will have to have a driving licence and car in order to apply for this job. There will also be extensive travel to Saudi so you must speak fluent arabic.
