My client are an engineering design consultancy and are responsible for delivering the design of the station box for a LRT station in Doha, Qatar.
The person in this role is not going to be responsible for the day to day inspection but rather will be responsible for ensuring that the design is delivered by the contractors.
There are some cut and cover tunnel works, station design and temporary works to contend with.
The design team is based in the UK and will be called upon for most design review or problems.
This position will need someone who has worked with contractors (though not necessarily for a contractor).
The preference would be for someone from a design consultancy background.
Gulf experience is required as is experience in temporary works and diaphragm wall experience.
