Retail Category Management / Stock Analyst, £36k, Middlesex
SALARY: £34-36k basic depending on experience plus 15% bonus (company/personal performance).

LOCATION: Uxbridge (commutable from Heathrow, Slough, Staines, Watford, High Wycombe, Fulham and West London).

Our client is a respected global supplier of innovative and desirable consumer electronics.
ROLE:
This role is part of a newly-formed team who will provide essential office-based support for field-based European Account Directors that manage Corporate and International Accounts.
As well as customer support responsibilities for named accounts this role has ownership for the monitoring and maintaining of the European account customer product/stock ranging and product promotional activity.
This role reports to the Corporate & International Account Director. Occasional European travel will be required in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stock analysis/ retail category management:
a) Responsible for monitoring and tracking the customer stock keeping units ranging matrix.
b) Track planned value proposition execution (bundles, kits, catalogues, allocation etc.).
c) Maintain Corporate and International Accounts store experience library.
d) Act as the link between Product Management, Product Sales Development, Business Operations and Trade Marketing departments for stock keeping units and promotional execution delivery and tracking.
e) Responsible for pre-disclosure/ranging process.
Customer support responsibility - office-based support for field-based European Account Directors with focus on dedicated accounts supporting the following areas:
a) Analyse and identify potential business opportunities on a customer, market or product level.
b) The main contact point and representative for C&IA with other internal teams to provide single and consistent messaging.
c) Provide material (core presentations, documents etc) to EADs to tailor for use with customers or other external/internal parties.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Degree level education or equivalent, preferably in Business or other related sectors.
b) You MUST have experience in retail category management and/or product management and/or stock analysis, preferably for a corporate company.
c) Good organisation and reporting skills with strong Excel and numeracy skills.
d) Excellent commercial awareness and credible client facing skills with senior management (both internal and external).
e) Other European languages are preferable.
