Overview
The Sales Department will execute our consumer strategies through our national account, field sales and contact centre channels through a focus on distribution, merchandising and retailer advocacy.
Each of these three areas will also look to initiate new in-channel strategies, services and propositions that better meet consumer and retailer needs, fulfilled by the wider organisation.
Your role
*Executing the organisation's commercial plans within its retail customers and developing in-store sales performance.
*Delivering agreed sales targets within these customers, within agreed cost budgets.
*Providing retail insight from in-store level, to feed into the development of plans and ensuring they are fit for retail.
*Managing the relationship at all levels in store to deliver perfect in-store execution.
Key Accountabilities or Duties:
*Deliver target sales revenues for the designated territory.
*Maximise revenue Point of Sale through optimising terminal location, identifying opportunity gaps and developing customer-specific insights and recommendations to convert sales growth opportunities.
*Increase advocacy and support for organisation through all retail outlets visited quarterly, maximising sales opportunities and communicating the importance of Perfect In Store execution.
*Implement the territory strategy as agreed with the Regional Business Manager, at outlet level maximising time spent to business need through efficient journey planning.
*Improve management of the delivery of the organisation's proposition (i.e. Brands, POS, New Product Launches) at outlet level, following necessary player protection and regulatory requirements.
*Train staff in new, and where appropriate existing, outlets to be able to deliver perfect in-store execution, maximise sales conversion opportunities, handle retail transactions efficiently as advocates of the organisation and maintain retailer vigilance.
Skills & Experience
*Demonstrable knowledge of retail execution including brand activation
*Demonstrable experience of successful face-to-face selling
*Proven ability to successfully interact with and manage customers
*Proven ability to analyse financial and business performance providing insight and recommendations to customers
*Demonstrable experience of successfully training 3rd parties
*Demonstrable PowerPoint skills
