As Store Manager with this fashion/volume focused department store your role is primarily to take responsibility for managing all areas of the business and driving sales and profitability. This role is one of the most exciting and challenging roles in retail. The knowledge, insight, vision and drive required to be successful at this level means that your views will be heard and acted upon at the highest level.
The Candidate:
- Experience as a General Manager, Store Manager or Area Manager within a fast paced retail environment.
- Strong leadership in a complex, dynamic environment with a high level fast pace environment
- A passion for customer service and proven track record in managing and leading people, with experience of training and developing a store team through effective performance management
- You will need to be KPI driven, trade focused and have a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs and your competition.
