Retail Store Manager Job Derry

Acting as an Employment Agency on behalf of our client, CPL is currently seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager for a permanent role based in Derry.

The Client:

Our client is a mobile operator which is focused on bringing the benefits of the internet to mobile communications.They have 99% voice and text coverage and are the UK’s biggest 3G network.

Your responsibilities in the Retail Store Manager Job based in Derry would include:

You will be responsible for driving sales of the latest 3G technology in a challenging, competitive market place. Your absolute priority is to run a profitable and efficient store in every respect, by selecting, leading and developing a world class retail team. You will, above all, be passionate about people, be they our customers or your team, and you’ll set the highest standards of customer service to ensure it is consistently delivered every day.

•Market knowledge: You understand the market we are in and will translate that into daily activities to make your store profitable.
•Leadership: You’ll lead your team by giving clear direction, encouraging consistently high standards - whatever the task.
•Customer Service: Every member of your team will share your desire to give world class customer service to everyone who visits your store. You will set the standards that the team will aspire to; they’ll learn and be inspired by you.
•Store Standards: You’ll never lose the ability to see your store through the eyes of your customers. The look and feel of your store will also be linked to maximising sales opportunities.
•Compliance: You’ll understand all the reasons why your store needs to achieve the Company’s compliance standards, and you’ll consistently achieve them – the what, the when and the how - without compromise, whether it’s for the shop floor or the back office.
•Self motivation: You are the type of person who is fearless of change; you are a retailer through and through, and you run the business as if it were your own.

The key requirements for the Retail Store Manager Job based in Derry include:

•Outgoing, open and genuinely interested in people.
•Enthusiastic and passionate about life
•Able to get on with all types of people, both face to face and on the phone.
•Buzzing about mobile telecommunications products and know why specific operators are unique and special.
•Always ready to welcome customers, finding out what they need, where nothing is too much trouble.

•GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (at Grade C or above).
•A passion for Retail sales and customer service.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Experience in a management or supervisory position within retail or service related industry where managed against KPI’s.
•Experience of working in an assisted sales environment.
•Experience of managing and developing
teams.
•An interest in mobile telecommunications brands and how technology can enhance our lives.
