PricewaterhouseCoopers Risk Assurance Services (RAS) Technology Assurance team has plans for significant growth. The need for a thorough understanding of Technology and its role in supporting business operations is increasingly important. To support this, we are looking to add a Senior Manager to our growing Northern team, based in our Manchester office.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a confident and enthusiastic individual, used to working on their own initiative but also able to interact with team members as required. Having a passion for the commercial and business elements of working in IT is a pre-requisite - we are not looking for a person who is primarily technical, but someone who has presence in a board room with the articulation and ability to delve into the technology as required. They should have a good career mix of technical, managerial (project or people), and sales or operational positions. The ideal candidate will be happy developing business - either through their own network of contacts or through introductions provided by the firm. They must be able to understand client needs, understand how those needs could be serviced by the immediate and wider teams, and be able to build lasting relationships. Experience in presenting to relatively large audiences is a pre-requisite.Previous exposure and experience of SAP and SAP security related assignments preferable. The candidate must have experience and / or certification in the following areas:
- Information Security or Information Governance review and analysis,
- PCI-DSS
- ISO2700x
The candidate should also have experience or certification in any of the following disciplines:
- Cobit v4.1, ITIL,
- Data-Centre infrastructure,
- virtualisation,
- switching / routing,
- Cisco,
- Nokia,
- Juniper,
- Bluecoat,
- Enterasys,
- Arcsite,
- Audit,
- Risk assessment,
- Security reviews,
- firewalls,
- routers,
- switches,
- Microsoft,
- SQL,
- operating systems, or servers.
Related to SAP, it would also be preferable that the individual has:
. Background and technical experience of SAP;. Knowledge of the financial risks associated with SAP and each business process; and. Managing and delivering SAP security and control engagements.
Relevant certifications:
CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Security+, ITIL, PRINCE2.
Any Cisco (e.g. CCNA, CCDA), Juniper, Microsoft (e.g. MCP, MCSA, MCSE), or other vendor specific technical certifications will be applicable.
Whilst not essential, individuals with government security clearance (SC or DV) would be welcomed. Please note that a current certification is notessential - it is acceptable that technical certifications have expired as we recognise that they may have been achieved in a candidates earlier career - they should however be mentioned to us at the time of application.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the North Technology Assurance team reporting to a Director to help grow the Technology Assurance team and capability. Work will include: Developing leads and opportunities for work within the Technology Assurance arena, including those related to Security, IT Governance and IT Service Management. Developing relationships with CIO and CTO's around the region. Leading the delivery of technology assurance related assignments.
