Sales Design Consultant - Kitchens & Bathrooms
The Company:
Our client is a large non food retailer with a nationwide portfolio of stores and a turnover in the billions of pounds. They are one of the major retail success stories, and trade from large out of town locations, placing a large emphasis on customer service and efficient operational skills.
Job Role - Sales Design Consultant:
As a Sales Design Consultant you will take the customer through the journey from initial enquiry through to design consultation and final implementation. You will explain different product options to suit their taste and budget, using Planit / CAD software to plan how it would look in their home and provide advice regarding installation and finance. A kitchen or bathroom is a big investment and therefore you must be able to deliver outstanding customer service whilst being sales driven and focused on achieving targets.
Key Attributes – Sales Design Consultant
- Retail sales experience ideally gained within the kitchen or bathroom design industry, preferably within a commission driven environment
- A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service and with an ability to demonstrate a track record of achievement in a customer facing and sales driven environment
- Experience of working to personal sales targets
- Strong attention to detail and commercially aware
- Outgoing personality with the ability to approach customers and assess needs
- Possess a good understanding of the sales cycle, with the ability to close deals
- Ideally you will have a keen interest and knowledge of interior design
- Ability to build rapport and interpret the customers ideas into an inspirational and practical design that captures their imagination
- Experience of utilising Planit / CAD or other design software would be preferred, although training is provided
- As this is a customer facing role it is essential you are flexible with regards work pattern and can work early / late shifts and weekends on a rota basis
- The ability to generate new customer relationships and build those relationships to proactively secure sales
NOTE - It is also essential that you hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have your own transport (business miles will be reimbursed).
