This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Director to join our Cheshire based team. Our talented management team, employees and recent capital investment have secured our position as the UK's market leader of home improvements products and interiors.
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director with a proven track record covering strategic business planning, exceptional leadership skills, sales growth, who is a good commercial operator. Confident operating at Board level you will be responsible for both field sales and back office staff (12 staff members), PR and Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
* Management of field sales and back office staff (team of 12)
* PR and Marketing
* Business development
* Develop the business sales and marketing plan
* Strategic planning and business forecasting
* Commercial contract negotiation
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven successful business planner

* Strong communicator who is tenacious, resilient and sales focused
* High quality sales management experience
* Proven and demonstrable sales track record of having won and grown business
* New product introduction and business development experience

Will be a real hitter of the dynamic type. Someone who can bring real strategic thinking to the business along with experience of high quality sales management, successful new product introductions and business development. Must be able to demonstrate good leadership be able to provide evidence that they've grown sales in saturated and / or declining market through taking share from their competitors. A well rounded commercial person who can operate at board level.
A person of substance who can think clearly on a large scale and then build a plan to deliver the strategy and then actually get their hands dirty and do a great job of execution !!
REMUNERATION
£75K basic plus uncapped OTE and all the usual benefits.
