One of the leading figures in PR Recruitment is
looking for an experienced consultant to take over a desk focussing on senior
communications roles. Despite the recession the desk is at the least very very
warm, if not in fact hot, and generates regular monthly figures around the
£15,000 mark and is the company’s blue ribbon position.The incoming recruiter
needs to be able to maintain that performance through a combination of high
level account management and new sales. They will be a strong networker and
very credible with senior candidates so it is most likely that they will
already be a successful PR recruiter although those from other related sectors
with a knowledge of PR won’t be ruled out. A background in PR prior to
recruitment could well be an advantage but is not a necessity. The role could
suit either a very experienced recruiter who has already worked at this level
or a more junior consultant who is ambitious and motivated to climb the value
ladder in terms of the roles they place. As a result the basic could be
anywhere between £26,000 and £40,000 depending on experience and expectation
but in either case it will be accompanied by one of the best commission
packages in the sector.
