SENIOR SOURCING BUYER/PURCHASING MANAGER/PROCUREMENT MANAGER
NORTH LINCS/SOUTH YORKSHIRE
£38,000 + BENS
A large international business are currently looking to centralise their purchasing function in the North, as a result they are now looking to recruit 2 senior procurement managers within services and corporate services.
JOB INFORMATION:
This role requires an individual to lead a category sourcing team to ensure a cost effective solution to the business.
You will be required to provide strategic formulation and planning, along with utilising best practice sourcing techniques.
As a manager, you will take responsibility for a team to drive and implement cultural and organisational improvements. You will need to manage a team on a day to day basis, providing ongoing feedback and communication.
It will also be necessary to implement continuous improvements in purchasing activities, processes and procedures. You will need to negotiate contracts, review SLAs and undertake tenders as required.
YOU WILL BE:
A senior buyer/purchasing manager, with hands on exposure to managing a team. To apply for this role you will need relevant experience in purchasing and sourcing within either corporate services (IT, Company cars etc) or services (sub-contractors, waste services etc)
