recruitment is the leading rec to rec company operating primarily within
marketing and creative services recruitment. We are looking to take on an
experienced recruiter to join this market leading media consultancy to focus on
roles within the Search Engine Optimisation field. SEO is taking over from TV
and Press advertising as the primary way in which companies spend their
advertising and marketing budgets and a new breed of SEO professionals has
grown up in the last five years. Working primarily within Digital, Advertising
and Media Agencies they are more technically proficient than their traditional
media predecessors. As a result the recruiters who are best able to understand
the clients and candidates experiences and requirements can come from either a
media or IT (probably web) background. The ideal candidate will already be
recruiting within SEO within a media, digital or marketing recruiter but will
be looking to take on more responsibility and potentially step up to team
leader role very quickly. Media recruitment is very relationship based, much
more about assessing a client and understanding a candidate than matching
skills off a CV, much less aggressive and a much less target and KPI led than
most recruitment fields.The desk is very solid considering the climate and
although there will always be a degree of new business in any recruitment role
the primary remit is to fill the jobs that are already there. This is a
fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter with anything above a year
in the job to take their skills and move them into a much relaxed and informal
environment where you can still make a good living without a high degree of
pressure to deliver and to stsrt to take steps towards management
responsibility. Basic salary will be between £25000 and £30000 depending on
experience with the opportunity to at least double in that in bonus.
