An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this fantastic Ski Travel Company as a Ski Sales Advisor on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate MUST HAVE ski industry experience of some type or come from a travel sales background, as well as being a passionate skier. Providing a professional, efficient and quality telephone service to direct customers, travel agents and internal customers. Delivering sales through providing excellent service.
Duties:
*Respond to calls and correspondence from customers and travel agents to deliver on company sales and service targets.
*Establish needs and action ensuring a quality service is provided at all times
*Use internal computer packages to make reservations, administer bookings/queries, make amendments, or reply to customer correspondence
*Identify customer needs and pro-actively sell additional services eg insurance and ski pack items. *Action/complete all administration using Mars (internal pc system) including client accounts, ticketing and post travel feedback.
*Liaise with Team Leaders to aid problem resolution
*Assist with manning of Company out of hours ¿on call¿ rota as required to assist customers on departure ·*Escalate to all relevant areas, key issues in line with company procedures ·
*Represent company at key marketing events eg ski shows ·
*Process all administration within Company and ABTA guidelines and timescales
*Minimise losses to the Company through due diligence
Required Skills:
*Customer service skills and/or travel experience
*Sales Driven
*Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
*Positive can do attitude
*Accuracy and attention to detail
*Experience of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
*Keyboard skills/ PC literate in Word and Excel
*Ability to work to own initiative
*Flexible and adaptable
*An organised approach to work
Additional Information
*Opening hours are 9am-8pm Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday
*Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis in advance
*The contract is designed on Annualised Hours
*Flexibility with working hours is essential
