SQL Developer / Forecasting Systems Developer – Birmingham, West Midlands (SQL, ETL, SSIS, EPOS).
This is a permanent opportunity offering a basic salary of £30-35,000 per annum.
Joining a growing team providing Business Intelligence to a large International company, this role represents an excellent opportunity for a talented SQL Developer.
Working within the Forecasting division they will be using SQL 2005/2008, ETL and SSIS to develop forecasting systems for this huge retail presence.
This role will cover the full development lifecycle and dealing with very large volumes of data. To be suited for this role it is expected that the candidate will have previously provided development solutions for multi-site organisations and have experience of working with a structured and methodical approach to testing and development.
The successful candidate for this position will have the following technical skills: SQL 2005 and ideally SQL 2008 Development, ETL, SSIS 2005 and ideally SSIS 2008 development.
They will also be highly numerate, an excellent communicator and have Business Analysis skills. It would strongly recommend a candidate – though is not essential – if they also had experience working with data from EPOS systems, an awareness of .Net application development framework and some understanding of General Ledger Accounting.
