SUPPLY QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
An experienced SQA Engineer is required to analyse, report and establish improvement activities within our client supplier base.
Activities / duties will include but not be limited to:-
Supplier visits throughout the UK.
Conducting product and process audits.
Conducting training activities that include First Article Inspection, Control Plans, Quality Plans, etc.
Supplier performance development activities.
Supplier performance analysis.
Supplier due date monitoring.
Maintenance of the approved supplier database.
Experience required:-
Detailed knowledge of machining processes. Milling, turning, grinding, gun drilling etc.
Knowledge of special processes including anodising, painting, alochrome etc.
Preferable but not essential, knowledge of heat treatment processes including HVOF, hard face welding etc.
Computer literate using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project etc.
Evidence of Quality system auditing training / certification is essential.
