Safety Assurance Engineer : Opportunities to join this hugely impressive safety-critical engineering company who, on the back of some major contract wins, are currently recruiting within their Systems Engineering , Software Engineering and most urgently in their Systems Safety Departments.
Commutable Locations : Wlitshire , Swindon , Bristol , Bath , Chippenham , North Somerset
Safety Engineer Key Responsibilities :
• Presentation and analysis of all matters contained in the Safety Cases and documentation produced.
• Writing the Safety Cases and other similar documents to programme for the acceptance and approval of systems and products.
• Liaise with and interface to client, acceptance bodies and vendors.
• Attend project meetings with respect to RAMS and approval issues.
• Planning and execution of tasks in relation to the writing of Safety Cases.
Safety Engineer Qualifications and Experience :
• Membership or working towards membership of a professional body such as the IEE, IRSE or one specific to RAMS engineering.
• Understanding the key components of Safety Cases
• A driving ability to construct Safety Cases that address all issues in a clear, coherent and comprehensive manner and can be easily understood and accepted by non-specialists.
• Proven track record of producing complex Safety Cases or similar documents.
• Good understanding of electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic engineering principles.
• Good understanding of product and system EMC issues.
