Our client, a medium sized contractor, is seeking a SHE Manager to be responsible for their health and safety operations across a UK wide project portfolio, based in their offices in the Home Counties. Candidates will be reporting into the Managing Director and will be the sole company H&S representative. They must have significant experience in the construction industry, in particular relevance to high rise, reinforced concrete frame structures.
You will be expected to:-
-Have the ability to develop, maintain, review and communicate the company's policies and procedures to the entire organisation.
-Work autonomously.
-Implement and monitor training schemes and CITB funding schemes.
-Make random site inspections to ensure the company’s safe systems of work are implemented and maintained.
-Report to the Board of Directors all non-conformances contained in their policy.
