Sales & Marketing Director required within the South East to manage the P&L of Ronal's UK business focusing on their Shower enclosures range of products
Reporting directly to head office in France you will be responsible for the sales & Marketing of the Ronal brand, specifically their range of shower enclosures into the UK Construction market. Initially a stand-alone role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales activities to meet company targets and objectives and raise the profile of the Ronal brand. After a set period of time you will be responsible for bringing on board a sales and marketing team where your role will focus on coaching, people management and change management.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Identification of suitable projects for the specification of the Ronal brand including both house builder and commercial contracts.
- Reporting relevant market information and competitor analysis
- Proposing new product development and suggesting improvements wherever the opportunity arises
- Recruit, train and manage future members of the UK business as appropriate
- Direct and manage the UK P&L focusing on long-term stability and profitability
Who we're looking forWith demonstrable experience of developing high level accounts, exploring new markets and building profitable relationships you are a well organised motivator with sharp commercial instincts. You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Fluency in French
- A senior sales manager/director with demonstrable experience of selling products into the construction sector
- A through understanding of the specification route to market with direct experience of product selling into the architects/contractors
- Previous experience of managing a UK P&L with exposure to long-term growth and strategic planning
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to influence at the highest levels
- Previous experience of managing a field sales team
- Experience of implementing a marketing strategy and managing a budget
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
