Main purpose of the role:

To provide internal sales support for the Sales team, processing sales administration and handling enquiries from UK customers and overseas agents.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. To process all administration relating to sales, including deal sheets, logging leads and routing orders, maintaining a high standard of accuracy at all times.

2. To collate all the necessary information to ensure order progress enquiries from overseas agents are dealt with efficiently, in line with departmental standards.

3. To offer a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers, by demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner, taking responsibility to ensure that work passed onto others is of high quality.

4. To provide and follow up quotations on air cargo services for customers as required, maximising shipment profitability.

5. To deal with any visitors at reception in a pleasant, professional and hospitable manner, and in accordance with Company security procedures.

6. To undertake any general office duties required, including typing, filing, to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the office.

7. To deal with any communication into and out of the department in a customer focused, professional manner.

8. To build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues throughout the Company, overseas agents and customers.

9. To ensure that all activities operate within company policies and procedures and to demonstrate a commitment to these through their own working practices.

10. To ensure that all documentation, records and systems are accurate and kept up to date.

11. To prepare and present information for the management team as required.

12. To comply with Aviation Security regulations, the Health and Safety statement and ISO and IIP procedures in all areas of responsibility.

13. To carry out such other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job purpose and level of responsibility and offer support to other departments when required.
