Bensons for Beds started as a family owned and run business in the 1980s.It is now part of the Homestyle Operations Group who are owned by the UK arm of the multi-national organization – Steinhoff.Some of our sister companies within Homestyle include Harveys Furnishing, Sleepmasters, Bed Shed, Cargo and Reid Furnishing.
Bensons are the biggest bed retailer in the UK and offer the widest range of beds from occasional daybeds to top of the range luxury beds from the leading suppliers.We currently have around 190 stores throughout the UK from Truro to Inverness.

The Tottenham Court Road, High Street Kensington and East Sheen are our brand new prestigious Premier Stores in London which will open on 26th December.
These stores will have a unique Bensons proposition with slightly different layout, unique POS and additions to our standard range, and will be the focal point for Bensons and our Group as they are large turnover standalone stores, in highly desirable areas - and more importantly our very first "Premier Stores ".
As these are prestigious Premier Stores , the On Target Earnings for a Store Manager in one of these three stores is between £36,000 and £50,000, and the On Target Earnings for a Sales Consultant would be between £24,000 and £30,000.
All our sales vacancies packages work off a basic

Essential criteria:
Eligibility to work in the UK for at least the next 12 months – Proof is normally in the form of an EU Passport or Work Permit.
Commitment to work weekends, Bank Holidays and late nights.
Flexibility to work at other locations – temporarily and permanently.
Confidence, good interpersonal skills, good communication skills.
Ability to use a computerized till.
Be able to lift, move, erect and make beds and bedroom furniture.
Have some customer facing experience.
Have some retail sales experience (desirable but not always essential).
