Sales Director, Public Sector sales for a global telecommunications carrier
London or SE based. £80k-£100k base plus commission plus car
AVP, Public Sector
The Area Vice President is responsible for building and growing a public sector sales team in a specific UK/EU Region/Segment.
Products include Outbound and Inbound Services, Global Private Line, MPLS, outsourcing - successful recent background in telecommunications sales and management
Experienced in managing, developing and motivating a sales team.
* Must be a strong team player with a commitment to value-based leadership.
* Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire new business.
* Adept at prospecting, funnel management and closing business.
* Expertise in the areas of Data and/or IP are required.
Demonstrated success as a top sales performer, consistently exceeding quota.
* Strong Data, IP and Managed Services competencies including Global Private Line, Frame Relay, ATM, Internet, VPN,
Hosting.
* Strong Account Management and client interface skills
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong sales opportunity analysis
* Strong proposal development
* Strong Closing skills
* In depth understanding of client business drivers, strategy and buying cycles.
Bachelors degree. Telecommunications sales experience may substitute for part of education requirement.
