Brief job description: Our Client is an extremely successful global business supplying speciality carbon and alloy steel pipe, and associated components together with a full range of high grade offshore structural carbon steel. They have numerous worldwide locations in their primary markets and hold at any point in time stocks in excess of 100,000 tonnes.
The Darlington Branch is currently experiencing exceptional growth in to their traditional market, supplying carbon steel structural products to the Offshore Fabrication, Oil Refinery and Construction Industry. The addition of new 'Alloy Products’ has allowed entry into new markets such as Power Generation.
As such my Client needs to recruit an experienced internal sales executive based in theDarlington branch who will be capable of maintaining the existing business, growing further sales from the established client base and developing new markets.
Successful applicants must have internal sales experience in a steels or an industrial consumables environment.
Candidates will require a proven track record in sales, be able to build a good rapport with key customers, develop new business and achieve profit and volume targets.
