Our client is a leading provider of public sector events and publications. City centre based, they are currently celebrating their most successful year to date in spite of the current recession. They are now looking to recruit an additional Sales Executive / Business Development Executive to join their team.
If you're an experienced sales person who isn't afraid to pick up the phone - this could be the role for you. Not only does this position offer generous commission, but also scope to progress into a management role.
As a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive you'll be responsible for selling spaces for the company's events and conferences - a number of which are attended by high profile politicians. Selling to the private sector, your role will focus on new business and will require a 'research-led' selling approach.
To be considered for this position you must have business to business (B2B) sales experience, a strong personality and a fierce desire to succeed.
The ideal Sales Executive / Business Development Executive will have experience in the events industry, and will have an interest in government and the public sector.
