Job Title: Sales Co-ordinator
Salary:£19,000 £22,000
Reporting To:Sales Manager
Organisation:Exciting Vibrant Venue Provider and Caterer based in the City.
Overall Purpose: To provide the highest possible levels of customer care and sell venues through
effective matching of clients needs and building professional relationships; Win and retain business
for the Company and promote awareness of all facilities and services available.
KEY DUTIES
•Answer telephone enquiries within three rings, reply to all email enquiries within two hours and ensure that all enquiries are answered in an efficient and friendly manner
•Ensure all administration and correspondence is dealt with promptly and accurately
•Accurately record sales enquiries and sales leads on the appropriate form
•Work towards the conversion of all sales leads to confirmed bookings and repeat business by providing the best possible customer service
•Use the computerised diary program to ensure all future sales leads are followed up correctly and all sales enquires and new contacts are entered in a timely and accurate manner
•Ensure all financials are entered accurately on the computerised diary system and that the status of each booking is kept up to date to allow for financial forecasting
•Follow the deposit process and ensure invoice is paid before event
•Mailing marketing material, menus and directing clients to the website and proactive follow-up of all information sent
•Organising show rounds for venue visits wherever possible
•Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings
•Ensure all correspondence relating to an event is filed accurately and passed on to the appropriate Venue Manager or Operations Manager
•Maintain and update the customer database at all times to ensure accuracy
•Ensure the follow-up procedure is carried out after an event
•Attending functions, promotions, client entertainment evenings and sales events as required
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
•Sales focused with the ability to close business successfully and consistently
•Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are essential
•A professional team player with patience and initiative
•An understanding of the importance of high customer service standards
•An open mind to accept changes and innovations to allow for growth

•Events Perfect
•Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
