Our Client is a specialist in enabling online customer communications. Its proprietary technology allows users to manage their entire e-marketing campaign from planning and testing through to broadcast, tracking and measurement of results. The company's marketing solution makes it easy to campaign to subscribers using email, RSS, SMS and social networks.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To develop new business sales opportunities for Email applications.
MAIN DUTIES:
*Research and targeting client leads.
*Following up company generated leads.
*Present proposals and demonstrate capabilities to senior executive level buyers.
*Identify opportunities, develop, manage and close deals.
*Develop a solid revenue pipeline that meets or exceeds given targets.
* Prospect, qualify and build new business opportunities for the territory pipeline, including researching and gathering intelligence on target market sectors, cold calling, prospect education, qualification.
*Database integrity management, entering information into
Salesforce.com, ensuring qualifications are diarised and
documented.
*Maintain technical industry and product knowledge on a regular basis.
*Provide support to marketing(for example seminars and webinars).
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
*Educated to degree level or demonstrate relevant industry experience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Over 2 years experience of direct selling email marketing technology.
*Consistent on or above quota sales record.
*Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
*Outstanding oral and written skills.
Formal sales training would be an advantage.
*It is desirable that you have the following IT experience:-
*MS Excel - good working knowledge
*MS Word - good working knowledge
*MS Outlook - good working knowledge
*MS Powerpoint - good working knowledge
*Contact Databases - familiarity with one of the leading products such as Act, Goldmine, Maximiser, SalesForce.com, etc.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
*Basic Salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, OTE £60,000
*20 Days Holiday in first year, 25 Days in following years, plus Bank Holidays.
*Based in Chiswick, London.
