Global hotel chain is offering a fantastic opportunity to join one of their prestigious properties in Manchester, perfectly located for the business or leisure traveller.
As the Sales manager for the property, you will report into the Director of Sales and be responsible for driving and developing new business for the hotel across all market segments
This role has a strong biased toward new business and you will need to demonstrate a proven track record in generating and nurturing these accounts.
In addition you will need to develop a detail account plan for each of your current accounts, detailing how you will continue to grow the business through further up selling into the account.
You will be targeted on a minimum of 16 appointments per week, so previous experience within a client facing sales role is an asset.

About you:
- You have a strong background of selling across the Hotel and Leisure sectors , not necessarily a hotel background , but perhaps car hire, events, travel or any related industry.
- You will have a passion for achieving your sales targets and selling a property that you can be proud of.
- A proven track record of new business along with an excellent understanding of account penetration and up selling.
