Position Description for Sales Manager / Events Manager
Are you a conference sales sepcialist? Confident to work in a stand alone position to drive sales in a unique property? The Dickens Inn needs a determined Sales Manager to develop business, both corporate and private functions, in this charismatic property. The Dickens Inn is at St Katherines Dock in London. With 3 defined restaurants / bars and a large conference space this is a real opportunity to work independently to grow sales. This property is part of SSPs wider portfolio and is unique to the SSP retail catering business.
Required Experience for Sales Manager / Events Manager
With your experience within a conference or hotel sales environments leading all aspects of brand development, website expansion, merchandising, POS and front of house communications. You have the ability to plan and prioritise yourown workload to meet deadlines using own initiative as appropriate.You will have a flexible and adaptable approach with excellent team working skills,be able to positively influence colleagues, managing subjective issues with sensitivity. Attention to detail and quality conscious you will have creative flair for sales development and a passion for food and drink!
