Your Profile
To be successful as a Sales Manager within this Global content provider. You will be educated to degree-level, or equivalent and will be a fluent Arabic speaker. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years successful B2B sales experience from the publishing sector or have come from an e-learning provider having sold Online information solutions and content. Experience of selling into Educational/Higher Institutions is desirable. Alternatively, candidates with a proven track record of successfully selling technical solutions will also be considered. As this role is selling Online solutions in Dubai, knowledge of Middle Eastern business practices and cultures is key to being successful. My client are seeking a self-starting, pro-active strategic Sales Manager that has a proven successful track record of developing new business and managing key accounts. A consultative sales process, successfully achieved by managing long sales cycles to ensure that you successfully close business is key. This role will require the successful candidate to occasionally travel back to the UK, but as the lions-share of the business is to be conducted in Dubai and the Middle East, you will need to have a driving license.

This position as Sales Manager is offering a fantastic opportunity to recruit and grow a sales team in 2010. This position is available as my client are seeing the market improve and they are looking to grow their Global prominence within the Higher Educational content industry. They are a highly prestigious, successful, global content provider and this is an opportunity to drive profitable sales across the Middle East within existing revenue channels, although to develop and grow revenue streams from additional channels is key. My client are currently looking to hire a tenacious, career driven candidate to drive revenue pro-actively within this region and to work closely with the UK Sales and Marketing teams to implement strategies that will ensure double digit growth in sales through key account management and new business development. You will be selling in to the Higher Educational sector to senior-level decision makers within the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that are looking to grow their market-share within the Middle East and to have the opportunity to develop, grow and nurture a sales team in mid-2010.The basic salary is between £35-45k (this is tax-free) and expected annual commissions that are expected to range from £7.5-15k.
