Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, 3-5 years experience in technical role in hydrocarbon process industry, preferrably in natural gas processing plants and/or ethylene plants. Middle East experience is preferred and knowledge/exposure to adsorbents is preferred but not mandatory.
To support the sales Activities from Technical and Sales Point of view and that includes
Design Support
General sales Support
Provide on site services
35-40% travel requirements
Degree in Chemical Engineering
5 years of experience as Process Engineer or Junior Process Engineer in either Hydrocarbon Process Industry or Natural Gas Plant or Ethylene Plants
Adsorbent is not must
Middle East experience is preferable but not must
6-8 weeks of training in Belgium or USA
o Sales Support Engineer for the Adsorbents and Specialties Business in the Middle East / Mediterreanan Area. This position provides technical product and application support to the sales group as well as to external customers. This also includes on site technical service support to UOP`s refinery, natural gas processing and petrochemical clients primarily in Middle East and Mediterreanan area,
Provide technical consulting to sales personnel and customers on exitisting adsorption units, covering adsorption know how and process topics, This includes operational data reviews, consulting on specific operational issues, consulting on potential process changes and impact on adsorption units, sample analysis feedback etc.
Support sales personnel with customers (enduser and contractor) meeting / visits, to resolve,/explain technicall issues / matters around the adsorption units.
Provide on site service efforts on adsorption units related to : startup activities, performance evaluations, unit optimisation, loading supervision, troubleshooting and adsorbent testing,
Provide design feedback to sales in the form of Design Summary Sheet and Vessel Loading Diagrams, provide input in technical proposal as required.
