Your Profile
As a Sales Team Leader/ Senior Sales Executive, you are a highly self motivated sales executive, ideally with at least 2 years sales experience. It is essential that you have also been a senior team member in your career to date in which overseeing a small sales team of successful sales executives. Ideally you will have still been a selling team leader rather than just managing sales people. As a successful Sales Team Leader/Senior Sales Executive, you will have sales experience from within the Media sector- business information sales, media sales, delegate sales experience etc. You will be extremely money driven, tenacious in your sales approach, hard working and will have an excellent understanding of the sales process. You will have exceeded sales targets in your 2 years+ sales experience to date and you will have been pivotal in motivating, coaching and mentoring sales teams to ensure their success within the business also. You will be determined and motivated by earning a huge realistic OTE by working incredibly hard and conscientiously in order to get there.
The Role
My client are a Global Business Information provider that are looking for an additional Team Leader/Senior Sales Executive to bolster their sales team with an experienced sales candidate to sell into their Corporate markets.This role is split between individual selling and motivating more Junior sales executives on the team. Individually, you will be responsible to sell one-off reports, annual subscriptions and consultancy solutions. You will be responsible to develop new business and to manage key accounts within the Corporate markets, by pitching and selling solutions at an average of £6-10k order value, typically within 3-4 calls. You will also be responsible to coach and mentor a team of up to 5 Junior members to ensure their progression and successful achievement of sales targets. You will be expected to do this by sales coaching, mentoring, listening and leading from the front in demonstrating successful knowledge of the sales process.
