Working on behalf of a leading UK energy provider, our client is an established energy company that has been successfully trading since 2001. The business has two arms, the Power Purchase Agreement and their Retail business. The business provides Power Purchase Agreement to companies wishing to sell energy they have generated, mainly from renewable sources. The newly launched Retail business offers half hourly metered customers a new route to purchase renewable and low carbon energy contracts at mainstream prices.
Due to current expansion plans they are looking to bring on a Sales Team Leader who will report into the Head of Retail Sales. They will manage and motivate a team of Internal Account Managers, Sales Support and Registration and Contract Executives to deliver an excellent sales experience to target customers. This will include work allocation, issue management and performance management. This person will be the first point of contact to deal with all billing and sales related queries. They will also ensure that all sales leads are processed accurately and all contracts are registered and replacement contracts are put in place for change of tenancy.
Candidates will have an energy background with previous experience directly managing a sales/billing team. They will also have the ability to manage high volume transactions and workflows and use tools for reporting and measuring performance.
