Our central Sales and Marketing team is the catalyst for driving the future growth aspirations of the business. As well as co-ordinating the design and creation of all marketing collateral, it plays a key role in interacting with each of the business divisions, understanding their growth ambitions and creating relevant sales and marketing campaigns to help them achieve their goals.
Job Summary:
We are currently looking for graduates to join our team in January 2010. These newly created positions will have a pivotal role in improving communication lines across the business whilst acting as a sales and marketing champion within their individual Business Units. Although directly reporting into the central sales and marketing team, you will sit within a nominated business division acting as the key link for all sales and marketing activities for that division.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
oTo act as a conduit between each Business Unit and the central sales team
oTo interact regularly with the Business Unit Sales Leader and central marketing team in the creation and administration of sales and marketing campaigns
oTo follow up on cross selling opportunities across Business Units
oTo maintain, update and police client and prospect lists via Salesforce. In association with the Business Unit Sales Leader to ensure diarised follow-up activity on prospects has been actioned
oTo assist with bid-management
oTo assist with organization of Business Unit seminars as required, liaising with Central Marketing team
oTo oversee and help Business Unit sales lead to ensure actions are executed following attendance at Seminars / Business Unit led conferences and events
oAssist in arranging and write-up of Prospect Account Development Planning Sessions. Monitor and ensure actions committed to by prospect team members are executed.
oAdhoc sales and marketing duties as requested.
Experience & Education Requirements:
Essential:
oGraduate level education with a minimum of a 2:1 attained in any subject
oExcellent communication skills
oA strong desire to develop a career within sales and marketing

oKnowledge of the insurance industry
