Are you a highly organised person with imagination and an eye for detail?
My client is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager who can work alongside the other departments within this organisation to ensure that sales are maximised.
This role will require first class people skills and will need someone who can pull departments together in order to put on events and conferences.
Here are some of the main Responsibilities:
-Liaising closely with Reservations Manager and Reception Manager re sales and ensure promotions are updated regularly
-Responsible for local PR in consultation with the General Manager
-Arranging and hosting of corporate entertainment
-Ensuring mailing databases are well maintained and follow data protection law
-Organise direct mailshots & e-marketing campaigns to advertise new products, promotions and events
-Advertising with approval from the General Manager to include design and copywriting
-Ensure that all written collateral both produced in house and out of house is proofed, sales focused and meets the correct market i.e. brochures, standard letters for enquiries, standard confirmation letters and emails, C & B packs etc
-Ensuring the company website and third party websites are kept up to date with prices, pictures, information and promotions
-Completion of standard guide book entry questionnaires
Strong negotiation skills are required along with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
