Our client provides a saw and tool sharpening service to existing clients based in Scotland and a vacancy has arisen for a Service Engineer/ Sales & Delivery Driver. 80% of this role will involve
collecting items to be serviced from existing clients and transporting to the workshop area in Bellshill. The company specialises in sharpening of saw blades and servicing machinery, When the repairs are complete the equipment is delivered back to the client's site. The additional 20% of the role involves identifying new clients and selling the service to them. Continuous growth of the client base is essential.
You should have a background within either engineering or woodworking with an understanding of the equipment being used. You should also have some selling experience preferably within a similar industry sector. A clean current driving licence is essential with previous engineering sales experience an advantage.
