We are a 16 strong team of talented people, based just outside Bidford on Avon, 10 minutes from Stratford-on-Avon and Evesham and 20 minutes from Worcester and Redditch. Our offices are modern, spacious, air conditioned and come with scenic views of the surrounding countryside.
The role: typical activities
A Search Marketing Executive’s typical activities, however, would include the following:
Working closely with Project Managers on a wide range of projects
Regularly assessing search positions for target keywords
Proactively identifying new opportunities
Identifying and implementing updates (where appropriate) aimed at improving search positioning
Liaising with copywriting, social media, design and technical teams
Managing and developing link relationships
Pay per click campaign management
Visitor analysis – using ClickTracks and Google Analytics
Report writing – including activity summaries and proposals
Keeping up-to-date with best practice optimisation techniques and industry trends
Being part of a modestly sized team means that a degree of flexibility is required as you may, on occasion, be asked to help out with other tasks.
About you
As the Search Marketing Executive’s role requires a demanding results / deadline driven focus you will need to be proactive and flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
You’ll be capable of working on numerous projects for a range of different clients and managing your own time.
Ideally, you’ll be educated to degree level and possess at least two years in-the-job experience. But more important is your ability to manage campaigns effectively and find creative solutions that increase traffic but not at the cost of converting visitors into leads or sales.
Natural search (SEO and SEM) must be your key strength as this will account for the vast majority of your time, but you should also have a good understanding of paid for search (PPC).
Candidates are expected to be able to demonstrate their ability with examples of previous work/campaigns.
General information
Company hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. All staff receive 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. Due to location, a full driving licence and car are essential.
