Job Description
Amey requires a Security Supervisor to oversee and supervise the provision of a Professional Security Service to the staff, visitors and contractors to the NPL contract based in Teddington.
Requirements
- SIA Licence required
- 10 year checkable history will be required
- Previous experience in similar role.
Responsibilities- Full supervision of security officers.
- Preparation of shift rosters as required, arranging cover as necessary for holidays, sickness, training courses and other absenteeism.
- Carry out sickness back to work interviews and complete the relevant forms.
- Ensure time sheets are completed on a weekly basis and forwarded to the security manager for onward transmission to payroll.
- Ensure that all reports are correctly completed and forwarded for action.
- Ensuring that Assignment Instructions and Control Room manuals are up to date ensuring that all security officers have read and signed off that they understand the contents.
- Ensure that all security staff wears the company issue uniform and PPE appropriate to the task and that it is in a clean and presentable state.
- Arrange the order of replacement uniform as and when it becomes unserviceable.
- Ensure adequate supplies of security documentation.
