THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL A NUMERATE DEGREE AND HAVE EXPERIENCE OF USING SAS IN A MARKETING ENVIRONMENT.
The role will include involvement in the following activities:
*Liaising with internal teams
*Understanding objects and KPI's.
*Ongoing liaison with account management & Insight team.
*External meetings with suppliers.
*Project planning & monitoring of project progress
*Data analysis using all types of statistical techniques within SAS.
*Writing documents/presentations to explain the results of analysis to the client.
*Managing the delivery of analysis from junior analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS
A degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline i.e. Maths or Statistics.
EXPERIENCE
*Strong numerate/statistical background
*Sound understanding of basic statistics and ability to explain basic statistical terms to non-technical marketers
*Knowledge of statistical software, in particular SAS is essential
*Experience in any of the following:
oResponse analysis, targeting models, DM/Email campaigns
oSpreadsheet modelling, time series/trend analysis
oCHAID analysis, profiling & segmentation
oDevelopment of cross-sell, propensity, retention/attrition models
PERSONAL/PRACTICAL SKILLS
*A self starter, able to work on own initiative, yet contribute and work in a team
*Ability to manage own workload and deliver projects, often to tight deadlines
*Confident, personable character, capable of building good working relationships with clients as well as other team members
*Ability to communicate clearly and write succinct reports
*Conscientious and reliable with a strong work ethic and personal integrity
*Interested in marketing issues
*Imaginative but practical approach to problem solving
