Senior Accountant – Financial Management
Location: Swindon Head Office, Pipers Way
Salary up to £49,945 depending on skills and experience

Every year, the finance division support a portfolio of corporate projects, to look at areas of cost reduction and income generation across the whole group. The team play a pivotal role in supporting the Change Management Division, by challenging the business case and commercial viability of each project.
About the role
An inspirational leader, you’ll take charge of a team of accountants and technicians to ensure a first-class project accounting service. Proactive and self-motivated in manner, you’ll confidently challenge senior management and Programme Heads on investment decisions. You’ll endeavor to see that all business cases are commercially sound while improving processes and reporting. Integrating project benefits into business plans, you’ll adhere to NBS Investment accounting policies at all times.
About you
You’re a skilled and professional project accountant, who acts with professionalism, integrity and diplomacy in all situations. Taking ownership of your work and that of your team, you communicate clearly (both verbally and in writing). With an unwavering customer focus, you’re able to influence throughout the business. Never happy until the right solution is found, you’ll bring advanced computer skills – particularly in Excel and PeopleSoft.
