We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acoustic Consultant with a strong background in Environmental Acoustics to manage a team in one of the world's largest and most diverse consultancies providing technical and management services to commercial, industrial and government clients across all sectors. As a senior member of the team you will use your expertise on a broad spectrum of exciting projects across building and environmental acoustics, vibration, occupational noise and entertainment noise becoming part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities
Salary: £27-37K
Qualifications
Accredited degree in Acoustics
Membership of the Institute of Acoustics
Experience
Post graduate Acoustic Consultancy experience of 5 years+
Extensive and detailed understanding and experience of Building Acoustics.
Familiarity in using noise monitoring equipment.
Strong project management skills
Experience of Noise Modeling using a recognized software package.
A team-player who is able to successfully motivate and manage teams of highly qualified, committed consultants.
Duties
Manage projects and finances on a number of large projects
Lead and provide support to less experienced consultants
Contribute to group expansion and develop and maintain business through networking, contact nurturing and presentations
Negotiation of new business,
Undertake environmental noise and vibration surveys and assessments,
Budgeting and project management.
Submitting proposals to clients
Preparation of high quality reports and specifications
Project and client meetings
Projects
You will be involved in a diverse range of projects, working closely with architects, engineers and designers within the industrial, transportation, Energy, infrastructure and automotive markets.
