A world renowned multidisciplinary consultancy with a largely diverse and varied project portfolio offering a broad spectrum of professional technical services and consultancy support in both public and private sectors has a requirement for a highly experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to complement and manage a team of specialists in Birmingham.
Qualifications:
Qualified to BEng/BSc level or equivalent
Associate member of the Institute of Air Quality Management
Experience
Demonstrable experience in an Air Quality consultancy role
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of air quality legislation at EU and UK level
Highly developed report writing skills
Self-motivated
Possess good written and oral communication skills
Experience of using ADMS-Roads, DMRB and ADMS v4, alongside good MS Excel and Word skills.
Experience of managing small projects to time and budget, with the ability to juggle several projects at the same time
Experience of change control would be beneficial
Duties
Undertaking Air Quality Impact Assessments
Dispersion Modelling
Monitoring programmes
Liaising with Local Authorities and Clients
Writing reports/chapters for Environmental Statements
Commercial/QA management of small projects
Supervising and checking Graduate's work
Projects
key land development projects assessing air quality impacts, including:
Major new settlements
Regeneration projects
Waste sites
Mineral sites
LAQM assessments
